Top 10 Mistakes

__________________________

Well, the Trio has made many mistakes during thier journey, and here are the Top 10!
This list is based on the top 10 situations that the Trio should have avoided, however caused a whole lot of stress at the time. But now, we can all look back and have a chuckle....

Top 10 Trio F**k Ups
1. Choosing to work in USA instead of Canada.

2. Leaving the USA aboard a cruise on the last day that their visas´were valid. This in itself sounds ok, but the Duo overlooked a slight detail. The cruises´first stop was Key West, Florida, which of course is still in the USA. Hence we were overstaying our visa by 1 day. This could have lead to a 10 year black-listing from the States, however the nice immigration officer on the boat let us off the hook. We have never felt so scared before, and we vowed to be more careful next time!

3. Lost Safety Deposit key in L.A.

4. Lost tent in Key West, Florida.

5. Visiting Disney World on Easter weekend.

6. Leaving at the last possible moment to catch a bus to the train station. A traffic jam caused by a radio-sponsored concert meant that we had to run along the road for about 1.5 kms with all our gear to the train station, only to arrive with minutes to spare.

7. Living in Comstock Hotel in Reno for 7 weeks, instead of a much nicer and cheaper hotel a few blocks away.

8. Having to give away three snowboarding sets the night before leaving Reno since we forgot to arrange a way to get money for them.

9. Using the International Exchange Program as a visa sponsor program. They sucked us in with their flashy promotional videos and then proceeded to bend us over with expensive flights and insurance.

10. Waiting for a bus from Uxmal ruins to Campeche in the wrong spot. The journey took 9 hours instead of two.
